# sk176186 - Endpoint Security Server UEPM Apache cannot start

| Property | Value |
|----------|-------|
| Solution ID | sk176186 |
| Date Created | 2021-11-15 |
| Last Modified | 2022-11-23 |
| Technical Level | General |
| Products | Endpoint Security |
| Versions | R81.10 (EOS), R81 (EOS) |
| OS | Gaia |
| Platform | Open Server |

## Symptoms

- * When in "cpconfig"-\> "GUI clients"-\> "Modify" the option "Any" is deleted, the Endpoint Security Server UEPM Apache cannot start.
* When manually launching UEPM Apache the following output is shown:
  ` AH00526: Syntax error on line 1 of /opt/CPuepm-R81/apache/conf/acl.conf:
  `
` ip address 'Require' appears to be invalid `

## Cause

When the option "Any" is deleted from the GUI clients' list, the *acl.conf* file in *$UEPMDIR/apache/conf* is automatically updated with the "`Require IP 127.0.0.1`" string.
When some GUI clients are added with a wildcard, the Server considers the whole string as an IP-list and cannot parse it.
It happens because the Server updates the same line instead of starting from the next one.
