## Symptoms

- * In a physical interface that is part of a bonding group, *vsx_util* reconfigure fails on step 4
* `vsx_util` logs show:

  ```
  Displaying last 5 notes from Management Server:
  Fetching configuration information from  ...
  Configuration information from  fetched successfully.
  Verifying configuration information for  ...
  **** Error: Interface '' exists in the management database, but not on the gateway.
  **** If this interface is not in use, please remove it from the VSX '' Physical Interfaces tab.
  ```

## Cause

The reconfiguration process fails because the physical interface is part of a bonding group.
