# sk175804 - Simultaneous connections via same user on two clients trigger reconnection loops for both

## Symptoms

- * When the client is assigned with a static OM IP address (by either RADIUS server or by ipassignment.conf), and "User is allowed several simultaneous logins" option is selected - the connection of a second client with the same username will trigger reconnection loops.
* Cached credentials on both clients.

## Cause

When the first client is connected it is allocated an OM IP address, so when the second client tries to connect via the same user, an attempt is made to allocate him the same OM IP address, under the assumption that it is still the first client, attempting to reauthenticate.

This leads to the second client connecting, while the first client's connection is aggressively severed (its TT packets are ignored, and eventfully it gets disconnected). In turn, the first client then reconnects (as its credentials are cached) and causes the second client's disconnection, just as previously happened to it, and so on.
