# sk175604 - Endpoint Security Client disconnects after rejoining an old Active Directory

## Symptoms

- After moving to a new Active Directory according to procedure in [sk90520](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk90520), and re-joining the original (old) Active Directory, 
the Endpoint Security Client status is "Disconnected".

## Cause

The SID of the device is changed after joining a new AD. When re-joining the old AD it disconnect from the server since the client treats it as a deleted item in the old AD.
