# sk175509 - "/opt/CPcme/installation/CME_install.sh: No such file or directory" error and CME installation fails

## Symptoms

- * CME installation of any version fails on new or existing deployment with error: `"/opt/CPcme/installation/CME_install.sh: No such file or directory" `.

* Similar logs are seen in '*/opt/CPInstLog/AutoUpdateLogs/CME* ' when the issue occurs:

* There is no */opt/Cpcme/installation* directory, example:

## Cause

Missing directories and files in the */opt/Cpcme/* directory.  

Below is an example of the directories and files that are created after a successful installation of '*cme_installation.sh* ' as per [sk157492](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk157492).
