## Symptoms

- * Output of the "`cphaprob show_bond bond<ID>`" command on ClusterXL members shows the status "`Not Available`" for some of the bond slave interfaces, although they appear fully operational.

  The expected status for these slave interfaces is "`Backup`".

  Example:

  ```
  [Expert@Member2:0]# cphaprob show_bond bond1
  Bond name:      bond1
  Bond mode:      High Availability
  Bond status:    UP
  Configured slave interfaces: 2
  In use slave interfaces:     2
  Required slave interfaces:   1
  Slave name      | Status          | Link
  ----------------+-----------------+-------
  eth3            | Active          | Yes
  eth4            | Not Available   | Yes
  [Expert@Member2:0]#
  ```

* Issue occurs only on ClusterXL members that run Gaia with kernel 3.10.

## Solution

As a work around for the VSX system in VSLS cluster or regular VSX you can use the next:

Under the VSX context where the problem occurred on each cluster member:

reconfigure the manual interfaces by execute the commands

#vsenv \<VSID\>

#mq_mng --reconf

and restart the particular VS

vsx restart_vs \<VSID\>

Push the policy for VS0 and affected V
