## Symptoms

- * User cannot update CME after restoring a Management Server that had a CME installation.

* There are no errors/issues during restoring the Security Management Server/Multi-Domain Management Server from a backup of the original server.

* The output of `'cpinfo -y all'` shows the correct CME version was previously installed on the Security Management Server/Multi-Domain Management Server.

* The directories '*BUNDLE_CME_AUTOUPDATE* ' and '*BUNDLE_GOT_TPCONF_MGMT_AUTOUPDATE* ' are missing from '`/opt/CPDepInst/backup/`'.

* These logs are found in '*/opt/CPInstLog/AutoUpdateLogs/CME* ' when attempting to install the new CME version:

  `
  [DATE TIME]:[Execute Hotfix Hook][ExecuteHotfixHook][End]Execute hotfix hook`
  `

  `

  `

  `
  . Error code 211 - Failed to extract files`
  `
An error has occurred in Create Hotfix Backup Files`

  `

  Additional information:`
  `
Failed to extract a tgz file`

## Cause

As 2 directories are missing, an attempt to update or to uninstall the CME fails since it cannot locate these directories.

Example of missing directories:
`[Expert@Hostname:0]# ls -l /opt/CPDepInst/backup/`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Sep 18 2020 BUNDLE_DC_INFRA_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Nov 2 2020 BUNDLE_DEP_INSTALLER_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Nov 18 2020 BUNDLE_GENERAL_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 78 Feb 10 15:30 BUNDLE_HCP_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Sep 18 2020 BUNDLE_INFRA_AUTOUPDATE`

*Example of all of the directories that there should be:*
`[Expert@Hostname:0]# ls -l /opt/CPDepInst/backup/`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 78 Apr 6 14:20 BUNDLE_CME_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Apr 6 14:22 BUNDLE_DC_INFRA_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Apr 6 12:55 BUNDLE_DEP_INSTALLER_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Apr 6 12:54 BUNDLE_GENERAL_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 82 Apr 6 12:56 BUNDLE_GOT_TPCONF_MGMT_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 78 Apr 6 14:21 BUNDLE_HCP_AUTOUPDATE`
`drwx------ 2 admin root 26 Apr 6 14:21 BUNDLE_INFRA_AUTOUPDATE `
