# sk175005 - Login Failure - "No Valid Domains were found for [username]"

## Symptoms

- Login failure with this error message - "No Valid Domains were found for \[username\]".

## Cause

Permissions cache does not hold all necessary data and should be refreshed.

If you choose not to upgrade:   

Add a dynamic environment variable which enables reloading folder caches without using the `mdsstop-mdsstart` commands .  

To enable the automatic refresh, run this command:  
`$MDS_FWDIR/scripts/reload_env_vars.sh -e REFRESH_PERMISSIONS_CACHE=1`  

To disable the automatic refresh, run this command :  
`$MDS_FWDIR/scripts/reload_env_vars.sh -u REFRESH_PERMISSIONS_CACHE`
