# sk174969 - VLANs lose IPv6 addresses after trunk is restarted/added/removed from a bridging group

## Symptoms

- * VLANS lose IPv6 addresses after the trunk is restarted/added/removed from a bridging group
* If users do one or more of these actions, the IPv6 address disappears:
  * add bridging group \<\> interface \<\>
  * delete bridging group \<\> interface \<\>
  * set interface eth5 state off
  * set interface eth5 state on

If you choose not to upgrade, run this command to restore the IPv6 address:  

`[Expert@admin]# ifm -o`  

**Important:**This command causes an outage for a few seconds.
