# sk174907 - New IPv6 NDP proxy entry does not update

## Symptoms

- * Newly added IPV6 proxy entry updates only after a reboot.

* No multicast address is updated after policy installation.

  For example, adding a new entry 2408:80f1:70:200::260 eth0 to the *$FWDIR/conf/local.ndp* file:

## Cause

Regular policy installation will not load the changes made to local.ndp file (apply the changes). When the local.ndp file is modified, it needs the cluster to do a "cluster configuration" reload.
