# sk174864 - License cannot be deleted - "Cannot delete license. License is not attached to any module."

## Symptoms

- * The license that appears in SmartConsole under "Licenses" tab cannot be removed:
  "Cannot delete license. License is not attached to any module"

* The license does not appear when running `cplic print -x`

* The license does not appear in SmartUpdate.

## Cause

The license was partially deleted and there are remnants in the database.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:

Run the command: `cprlic get <GatewayName/CMA Name>`  

Check Point recommends to always upgrade to the most recent version.
