# sk174763 - SmartConsole shows "Other" in the "Hardware" field of a Security Gateway or Cluster object created with the Management API for 2200 / 3000 appliance models

## Symptoms

- Although a Security Gateway or Cluster object for 2200 or 3000 models was created with the Management API that specified the Hardware as "2200 Appliances" or "3000 Appliances", SmartConsole shows "Other" in the the object properties on the "General Properties" page in the "Hardware" field.

## Cause

This is a known limitation with these appliance models.

## Solution

When you create a new or edit an existing Security Gateway or Cluster object for 2200 or 3000 models with the Management API, use you must specify this Hardware:

| 2200            | `"2200 Appliance"` |
| 3000            | `"3000 Appliance"` |
