# sk174744 - Error message while using command # vpn check_ttm trac_client_1.ttm

## Symptoms

- Every time the client runs the command: `vpn check_ttm /var/opt/CPsuite-R80.20/fw1/conf/trac_client_1.ttm`, the following error is shown: "serious issue, checking file failed, you have an invalid character before the attribute, should be ':' or '(' in line: 316. ( # of line is depends on how much strings you have in file, so it can change)".

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

Check Point recommends to always upgrade to the most recent version ([Security Gateway](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doShowproductpage&productTab=downloads&product=435)).
