# sk174385 - CME Functionality lost after an upgrade to R80.40

## Symptoms

- * After an upgrade from R80.30 to R80.40, CME functionality is lost.

* The command *autoprov-cfg* shows the error:  
  `
  "Exception: Failed to login: login with user and password is not supported"`

* The configuration files exist in the *$MDS_FWDIR/conf* directory.

## Cause

As the error states, the *$MDS_FWDIR/conf/autoprov.txt* file does not support the use of user and password in the management section:
