# sk173805 - Gateways are missing in the Core Protections Gateway Assignment List

## Symptoms

- Some Gateway objects are missing and some appear as duplicates in the **Gateways** section in any core IPS protection.

## Solution

[Contact Check Point Support](http://www.checkpoint.com/services/contact/index.html) to get a Hotfix for this issue.
A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.  

The fix is with a SmartConsole build to be installed on the client PC, so there is no need to provide the CPinfo.
