* What is an Updatable object?  
  > An updatable object is a network object that represents an external service, such as Office 365, AWS, and GEO locations that are based on IP / Domain.

* What content is included in Updatable objects?  
  > Updatable objects derive their contents from published lists provided by the vendors.

  <br />

* Do I need to install policy to update the content?  
  > The Updatable objects are updated automatically on the Security Gateway each time the vendor changes the content. There is no need to install policy for the updates to take effect.

* How can I know which Updatable objects are currently supported?  
  > The list of supported objects can be found in [sk131852](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk131852) that is maintained and updated with every new Updatable object. Another option is to review the objects through the "Import Updatable objects" option in the Source/Destination columns in Smart Console.

  > New Updatable objects are added on a monthly basis. Updatable objects creation relies on common requests from customers to allow access to 3rd party services.

  > An Updatable object requires official public content that is IP / domain based, and that the 3rd party vendors provide and maintain continuously in order to perform this integration.

* Can I suggest to support a specific service as an Updatable object?  
  > Suggestions for additional Updatable objects can be submitted in the "Give us Feedback" section of the SecureKnowledge article, with the relevant information that will be analyzed by R\&D (who is responsible for adding new updatable objects):

  > * Link to public content maintained by the vendor
  > * Is it currently used in my policy?
  > The most common suggestions will get highest priority.
