## Symptoms

- When the user fails to install the Endpoint Security Client for Mac on macOS Catalina or higher, the following message appears:

## Solution

Use the solution provided by Apple to add the Endpoint Security application to excluded apps - [HT202491](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491). See the section *"If you want to open an app that hasn't been notarized or is from an unidentified developer"* and follow the suggested steps to allow the Endpoint Security Client installation.
