## Symptoms

- * "`Failed to delete object: Object is used by a policy or other object`" message when deleting an LDAP Account Unit object.

* The "`Where Used`" option in the LDAP Account Unit object does not show any other objects that use it.

* The *$FWDIR/log/cpm.elg* file on the Management Server contains a line similar to this:

  ```
  
  it is used by the following object(s):
  Username_Password objid:[XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX] (field:directory.ldapAu)
  ```

## Cause

The LDAP Account Unit object is already in use.
