# sk173345 - How to configure whitelisted domains

## Solution

For RAD to make cache hit on configurable whitelisted domains, in addition to whitelisted domain response from the Check Point cloud, do these steps:  

1. Verify that the Anti-Virus blade is enabled.  

2. In SmartConsole, click **New** \> **More** \> **Custom Application/Site** \> **Application/Site** . Name the Application/Site, insert domains to the **URL list** , and make sure that this checkbox is unchecked: **URLs are defined as Regular Expression** .

3. Go to **Security Policies** \> **Threat Prevention** \> **Exceptions**

4. Go to **Global Exceptions** , and click **Add Exception** \> **Above** . A new rule is created.

5. Change **Action** to **Inactive** .

6. In **Protection/Site/File/Blade** select your custom application (Click the **+** sign, select **User Applications** from the drop-down menu, and select your new application by clicking the **+** sign next to it).  

7. Make sure that the value in all the following columns is **Any** : **Protected Scope** , **Source** , **Destination** , **Services** .

8. Install the Threat Prevention policy.
