# sk173283 - "Device & Licenses" window: Error: CloudGuard Controller is on, standby machine (partial data)"

## Symptoms

- * The Standby Management server shows this message in "Device \& Licenses" window: Error: CloudGuard Controller is on, standby machine (partial data)"
* Customer is able to open import window (picker) and see the objects there.
* No other impact is observed.

## Cause

The CloudGuard Controller exists on both Management Servers, but is a*ctive* only on the Management HA's *Active* member.  

When on the *Standby* member, the CloudGuard Controller is idle and does not handle enforcement.  

To report this fact, the error message window opens.
