# sk173168 - VSX_util reconfigure fails at step 6 of policy installation

## Symptoms

- * Reconfigure operation fails at step 6, policy install:

* VSX fwm debug (fw debug fwm on TDERROR_ALL_VSXM=5 ) shows these errors:

* On the Domain Management Server (CMA), no directory exists for the VSX GW in *$FWDIR/state/ directory* .

## Cause

The Domain Management Server (CMA) does not have a record of a policy installation for the related VSX Gateway.   

Example: The database was restored on a new machine.
