# sk173123 - Unexpected output when running the 'arp -d  *' command in expert mode

## Symptoms

- The output of the expert mode command:   

`arp -d * `  

Is the last file in the folder, for example:


`Check_Point_R81_JUMBO_HF_Bundle_T10_sk170114_FULL.tar: Host name lookup failure`

## Cause

This happens because bash replaces the asterisk \* sign with files in the folder - not an "arp" issue.
