# sk173046 - "Failed to load virtual network adapter" error while connecting to the Security Gateway

## Symptoms

- * Remote Users can authenticate and download the topology while connecting to the Security Gateway.
* The Endpoint VPN Client is stuck at 82% (loading Virtual network adaptor) and finally shows an error - "Failed to load virtual network adapter".
* When the option for extended logs is set on the client machine, the `C:\Program Files (x86)\CheckPoint\Endpoint Security\Endpoint Connect\Trac.log` log file shows:
