# sk172923 - The /var/log/messages file does not save Gaia Clish commands in Scalable Platform Security Group

## Symptoms

- * The */var/log/messages* file does not save Maestro Gaia Clish (gCLish) commands.

* The Syslog Server does not show Maestro gClish commands.

## Cause

1. In Scalable Platforms, the Security Group saves Gaia gClish commands in the */var/log/command_logger.log* file.
2. The Syslog severity level is "Debug" (7) instead of "Notice" (5).
