# sk172887 - TCP connection drops 60 min after a failover in the Security Group on Scalable Chassis / Maestro

| Property | Value |

| Solution ID | sk172887 |

| OS | Gaia |

## Symptoms

- * After 60 minutes of failover, TCP traffic drops with "First Packet isn't SYN". TCP session timeout is 60 minutes.
* The connections present in the new Standby member SecureXL connection table drop (fwaccel conns).
* The issue does not occur if the user reboots the Standby cluster member in the first 60 minutes after failover.

## Cause

By design, both members are active for a brief time during a failover. During this time, traffic that arrives to the previously Active member (directly or over a connection) offloads the connection again from the Firewall to the SecureXL after it was deleted.
