## Symptoms

- * The Check Point 1430 appliance goes down but came back after reboot.

* The `/fwtmp/opt/fw1/tmp/` folder is filled up with a lot of `18192xxxxxx.local` files. The files are constantly generated after the user deletes them.

## Cause

A SIC problem with the Secondary Management Server triggers `cpd_amon` service traffic from the Secondary Management server to hit the gateway, and this causes the Secondary Management Server to fail. In this case, the customer's Management High Availability mechanism was broken due to the SIC issue.

Each such `cpd_amon` connection attempt creates a `18192xxxxxx.local` file in the `/fwtmp/opt/fw1/tmp/` folder, which is a temporary file. Due to the constant failed attempts, the number of files become very large.
