# sk172646 - "Multiple objects have the same IP address 100.x.y.z" warning message when editing R80.40/R81 gateway objects on Smart-1 Cloud

## Symptoms

- * "Multiple objects have the same IP address 100.x.y.z" warning message when editing R80.40/R81 gateway objects on Smart-1 Cloud.

* The other object that holds this IP will not appear in search within SmartConsole.

## Cause

An old MaaS-Tunnel configuration automatically creates a redundant network object, causing this consistent warning message.

## Solution

Delete this network object: "Net_\<Gateway_IP_of_maas_tunnel\>" (255.255.255.255) using the **old SmartDashboard** (via https inspection tab):

* Open SmartDashboard from the Manage \& Settings tab \> Blades \> Https Inspection:

  1. Search the object in objects list ("Net_\<Gateway_IP_of_maas_tunnel\>"), and delete it.

  2. Update the change.

  3. Close the old SmartDashboard \> Publish.

* After performing the above steps, make sure your gateway holds the latest package of the maas_tunnel:

  **r80_40_maas_tunnel** package-version **31** onwards.
  1. Connect to gateway via SSH.

  2. Run: '**autoupdatercli show \| grep "maas_tunnel" -C 5'** (or autoupdatercli show):

**Note:** Warning message may show if the gateway's topology was re-fetched without the updated tunnel.

Repeat the solution to re-fix it.
