# sk172474 - When the user installs the E2 Anti-Malware engine from the Endpoint Security Client on a Windows machines, several blades that have not been selected are also installed

## Symptoms

- When the user installs the E2 Anti-Malware engine from the Endpoint Security Client on a Windows machine, the Anti-Ransomware, Behavioral Guard and Forensics, and Threat Emulation and Anti-Exploit blades (that have not been selected in the Software Deployment Rule) are also installed.

## Solution

This is an expected behavior.  

The E2 Anti-Malware engine depends on Threat Emulation, consequently it automatically installs it. Threat Emulation, in turn, is closely related to the Forensics and Anti-Ransomware blade, consequently it also installs that blade.
