## Symptoms

- * "Forbidden You don't have permission to access this resource." - This error message shows when connecting to SmartView Web application after upgrading to R80.40.
* The user is not defined as a GUI Client.
* The /usr/local/apache2/logs/error_log file contains this line: "client denied by server configuration: proxy:http://127.0.0.1:8082/smartview/"

## Solution

To grant users access to SmartView Web application, configure the users as GUI Clients in *cpconfig* (for the Multi-Domain Server - *mdsconfig* ).

No fix is required. This is an expected behavior.
Since R80.40, SmartView Web users must be defined as GUI Clients.
