## Symptoms

- An `Upgrade_log` file is generated every few hours after upgrade to R80.40.

## Cause

An `upgrade_log.<date-time>.elg` file is generated as a result of running the `migrate_server verify -v R80.40` command that is launched by CPUSE every 6 hours (This time period depends on the configuration in the Gaia WebUI).

CPUSE launches various checks every 6 hours, and one of these checks is "Upgrade verify". It runs only if a newer package becomes available for download on the Download Center. (It is not necessary that this package will actually be downloaded to the machine.)

The issue of multiple log files described above occurs when a new package is downloaded to the machine, before you actually upgrade the environment.

## Solution

You can either remove the new downloaded package, or upgrade the environment to match it.
