# sk172084 - Mobile Access SNX client fails to connect when the user has too many native applications

## Symptoms

- * SNX sticks on initialization for a specific user.
* In some cases, the 'Authentication failed' message appears.
* The issue occurs only when the user connects in Application Mode. (Network Mode works fine.)

## Cause

By default, only 30 applications are supported per user. If the user configures for more, the authentication fails.

## Solution

[Contact Check Point Support](https://www.checkpoint.com/support-services/contact-support/) to get a Hotfix for this issue.   
A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.   
For faster resolution and verification please collect [CPinfo](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92739) files from the Security Management and Security Gateways involved in the case.

If you do not wish to install the Hotfix, reduce the number of allowed native applications to resolve the issue.
