# sk171803 - Searching "Packet Mode" for a specific source and destination shows results from irrelevant inline layers

## Symptoms

- * When the user searches in "Packet Mode" for a specific source **and** destination, results from irrelevant inline layers appear in the search.
* The example below is a search for "mode:Packet src:"2.2.2.2" dst:"3.3.3.3\>".   
  Rule #2.1 has "Any" in Source and "Any" in destination, making it "relevant" for the search.   
  However, rule #2 does not match the search. Therefore, rule #2.1 should not match, as well:

* Searching for comments within inline layers sometimes results in "`No Items Found`".

## Solution

The code was improved.
