# sk171754 - Remote access users disconnect after 20 seconds when SecureXL is enabled on VSX

## Symptoms

- * Users connecting to a VSX Gateway for the first time on the day are disconnected after 20 seconds. Subsequent connection attempts works fine for the rest of the day.

* Enabling "Support connectivity enhancement for gateways with multiple external interfaces" as per [sk97688](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk97688) seems to resolve the issue but the environment is neither a Cluster nor has multiple externally defined interfaces.

* When SecureXL is disabled there is no problem.

* Main IP address of the VS Gateway is defined by the internal IP.
