## Symptoms

- When you upgrade an Endpoint Security Client E83.00/E83.10/E83.11 with an E1 Anti-Malware engine to an E2 Anti-Malware engine, not all the KAV drivers are removed.

## Cause

An uninstaller change was made to remove the KAV Anti-Malware engine in later clients (E83.15 and higher). The E2 Anti-Malware engine clients can only be upgraded in this fashion.

## Solution

A hotfix has been created to resolve this issue. In addition, an eppatcher has been created to clean up KAV components from E83.00, E83.10 and E83.11 E1 Anti-Malware engine clients to E2 Anti-Malware engine clients.
