## Symptoms

- * BSOD 'ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY (TDI.SYS)' occurs on Windows Server 2012 R2 occasionally after installation of E84.20.
* BSOD occurs when using SMB (Server Message Block), copying files to a shared folder on the machine, scanning a file using a network printer and saving the scanned file on the machine.

## Cause

In same cases, writing to a read-only memory location occurs due to incorrect mapping previously done by our mini-filter driver. This causes BSOD.
