# sk171666 - Files cannot be written on pCloud drive when Media Encryption blade is installed on the machine

## Symptoms

- * Files cannot be written on pCloud drive when Media Encryption blade is installed on the machine.
* When a user opens the pCloud drive from the program, this notification is displayed: "pCloud Drive is not ready yet. Please try again".

## Cause

pCloud has virtual drivers, which do not have hardware parameters, such as "Device ID", serial number and other parameters relevant for the Media Encryption policy. Media Encryption must protect these virtual drivers, but cannot determine the policy for them due to the missing parameters.

## Solution

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
