# sk171643 - Log exporter sends more data than  the size of raw logs

## Symptoms

- * Raw log files are different in size from the files Check Point receives through the log exporter.
* A third-party SIEM log receiver receives more logs than expected.

## Cause

When you export logs in semi-unified read-mode, each log update includes all previous information. As a result, the device sends the same data several times. However, Check Point logs store the data once.
