# sk171543 - "Password is corrupt, please reset the password. If the problem persists, do not use non-English characters." for Endpoint Security Client and SNX user password

## Symptoms

- Endpoint Security Client and SNX user password results in the following error: "`Password is corrupt, please reset the password. If the problem persists, do not use non-English characters.`"

## Cause

Non-English and other special characters are supported so long as 'enable unicode support' under 'LDAP account unit properties' in the AD is turned on.  

In this particular case, the password includes two question marks (`?`) at its beginning and end.   

A password cannot begin with two consecutive question marks for Remote Access and Mobile Access users (for example: `??123`)
