# sk171339 - "The Log Correlation Unit is not able to read logs from Log server:XX . Please run 'cpstat cpsead' for more information" error appears on SmartEvent Dashboard (legacy)

## Symptoms

- * When clicking on "details" in the performance details under "Overall status", an error is displayed on the "Correlating logs to events": "`The Log Correlation Unit is not able to read logs from Log server: . Please run 'cpstat cpsead' for more information`".   

* The `$RTDIR/log/cpsemd.elg` file shows the "`CDBConfiguration::RefreshStatus() - Failed to calculate available DB max size`" in large quantities." error.

## Cause

This error is displayed when the 'exist JOB' state description code is not 'eJobRunningAllOK' and state is **not completed**.
