# sk171154 - License cannot be added from SmartConsole with "License is invalid" message

## Symptoms

- * Starting from R80.40 Jumbo Hotfix 87, "CPSG-VSEC-VEN-BUN-NGTX-3Y" license cannot be added, returning "`License is invalid`" message.  

* The `$MDS_FWDIR/log/cpm.elg` file shows:  

  `DATE TIME,PID INFO cdm.utils.TaskManager [Thread-2457]: TasksManager::updateTaskDetails(): uid: b5f86db2-692d-4fcb-bd94-43242626863e status: FAILED`  
  `desc: `**Failed to install license: License Invalid**  
  `responseMessage:`  
  `responseError: IEZhaWxlZCB0byBpbnN0YWxsIGxpY2Vuc2U`

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

* [Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk165456) starting from Take 91
