# sk171041 - "fw logswitch -h" command on the Log Server / Domain Log Server fails with "Failed to connect"

## Symptoms

- * The "`fw logswitch -h <IP Address or Name of Security Gateway Object>`" command on the dedicated Log Server / Domain Log Server fails with "`Failed to connect`" message.

* The "`fw logswitch -h <IP Address or Name of Security Gateway Object>`" command on the Security Management Server / Domain Management Server works as expected.

* The FWD debug on the dedicated Log Server / Domain Log Server ([sk86321](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk86321)) during this issue shows:
