* Issue takes place when attempting to connect with Java 7 and Java 8 Update 73 or Java 8 Update 73.

## Cause

Changes in Java security settings - earlier versions of Java attempt to perform a connection in an insecure manner, and get connection gets rejected by the LOM.

## Solution

This is not a Check Point issue.

To resolve the problem, upgrade the Java 8 package on the server that you use to access LOM to Java 8 Update 191 or higher.

Also, make sure:

* There is a rule to allow connectivity from the host to the LOM card for TCP ports specified in [sk103399 - Required open TCP ports for LOM card functionality](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk103399)

<!-- -->

* You have the most up-to-date LOM firmware installed. See [sk88064 - Check Point Appliances LOM Card Firmware versions map](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk88064)
