# sk170613 - Promotion using "promote_util" fails after installing R80.10 Jumbo HF take 170 and higher

## Symptoms

- * Promotion using "promote_util" fails after installing R80.10 Jumbo HF take 170 and higher:

  ```
  
  Binding to localhost...Done
  Opening database...Done
  Failed to connect to server. Aborting.
  Make sure that the MDS is started and has a valid license.
  ```

* Issue occurs despite the license is valid for HA usage.

## Cause

Due to specific code changes, the feature does not work as expected after Jumbo HF 170.  

As the product is near it's End of Support date, this will not be fixed on the R80.10 version.
