# sk170427 - Policy Verification and Installation are slow

## Symptoms

- * Policy Verification is slow to complete.

* The file $FWDIR/conf/invalid_object_names.C has an excessive number of entries (more than 800K).

## Cause

The file *invalid_object_names.C* contains list of uids of objects with invalid CPMI names (names of those objects must be replaced during conversion so that the Security Gateway will be able to use them).  

The default value for workSession objects were changed from "validname=true" to "validname=false", causing all objects of the policy to be written into the invalid_object_names.C file.

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
