# sk170176 - "HA Module not Started: Could not get secured interfaces" error on ClusterXL member

## Symptoms

- * The command "cphaprob stat" output on a cluster member is: "HA Module not started".

* In the file: $FWDIR/log/cphastart.elg on the cluster member, you see the below lines:  

  `
  get_ha_interfaces: sync interfaces=, curlen=0`  
  `
  ha_do_command: could not get secured interfaces`

## Cause

Sync interface is not being detected as part of the cluster topology on the cluster member.
