## Symptoms

- * When saving changes or installing event policy in legacy SmartEvent GUI, the following error message appears: "The policy refers to objects that don't exist"
* At times, the error can be different:  
  "Validation failed for Object 'Standard' @ 'abacus_user_modified_detection_policies': Validation error in field 'event_definitions' of element #64 at object 'Standard' @ 'Abacus User Modified Detection Policies' --\> Validation error in field 'common_data' --\> Validation error in field 'aut omatic_reactions' of element #1 --\> The referenced object 'A941B4A7BAF8F7A4041A8966AE341A903668CA' from table 'abacus_automatic_reactions' does not exist in the database"

## Cause

The event policy contains events that have references to automatic reactions that are deleted.
