# sk170136 - VPND crashes on Standby  Member of a cluster

## Symptoms

- VPND crashes on the Standby Member of a cluster.

## Solution

**Environment:** Link Probing for Link Selection is being used, and it is being done by ISP redundancy.  
This issue happens in case of resolving with cluster standby member. If you don't have Link Probing, then the race condition that causes the VPND crash never happens.  

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
