# sk169919 - Security Gateway fails to download IoC feeds due to unresolved SSL validation failures

## Symptoms

- The *$FWDIR/log/ioc_feeder.elg* file on the Security Gateway / Cluster Member contains one of the these errors:

* `download: [ERROR] curl_easy_perform() failed: 'cpcrypto' failed validate the certificate (including CRL)`
* `Reason: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with given CA certificates`

## Cause

The Security Gateway / Cluster Member / Security Group fails to confirm the SSL validity of the certificate presented by the web server that is hosting the IoC feed file.
