## Symptoms

- Routing changes take 1 - 3 seconds to take effect in the Linux routing table.  
**Notes** :

* The output of the *show route destination xx.xx.xx.xx* command updates almost immediately and without issues upon the relevant routing change.
* The kernel version of the OS is 2.6.18
