## Symptoms

- Multicast packets are dropped due to "fw_log_ip_routing_failure Reason: IP multicast routing failed (missing OS route)"

## Cause

The packets are dropped because there is no PIM/IGMP configuration on the Security Gateway. As a result, there is no outbound interface defined, through which they could have been forwarded.
